Garden Clubs are as much service organizations as social ones. All of our clubs work in their communities offering educational and support services. We want to highlight two aspects of our work here.
(1) Please look at our Awards processes at the State and National levels, that recognize contributions made by our various clubs to civic activities that enrich our communities.
(2) We also want to encourage everyone, particularly gardeners about the Bay-Wise program that is designed to help all gardeners to be conscious of the best practices that can save our precious Chesapeake waterways and the Bay. The Yard-Stick is the tool used to help all gardeners find out about useful practices and establish gardens that can be certified.
